Squash is a product of Lucent Enterprises Ltd. Squash processes all video files locally on your device. No files are uploaded to any server. No cloud processing. No remote storage.
What we collect
Purchases
When you purchase Squash, our payment processor (LemonSqueezy, as Merchant of Record) collects your email address and payment information to process the transaction and deliver your license key. We do not store your payment card details. LemonSqueezy retains transaction records as required by tax and financial regulations.
Mailing list
If you subscribe to our waitlist or mailing list, we collect your email address. This is processed by Resend (our email service provider) solely to send you product updates and launch notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us. We do not sell, share, or use your email for any other purpose.
License verification
Squash contacts our licensing server (via LemonSqueezy) when you activate a license key and periodically on app launch to verify your license status. These requests transmit only the license key and a machine identifier. No video data, file names, usage patterns, or personal information is transmitted.

This website
This website uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, referral sources, and general geographic region. This data helps us understand how visitors find and use our site. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Data retention
Purchase records and license keys are retained for the lifetime of the product to support license verification and customer support. Mailing list data is retained until you unsubscribe. If you request deletion of your data, we will comply within 30 days.
Your rights
Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
Children's privacy
Squash is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website or email. Continued use of Squash after changes constitutes acceptance.
